What exactly do you hate about the modern comics? You keep spouting "furry drama bullshit" but I really don't see anything wrong with how the comics are now. If you seriously want nothing but jokes and puns, read a fucking newspaper strip.

Again? Can you please point out where I said I hate the modern era? Because I’m fairly sure I’ve said repeatedly before that I enjoy the current era and suggested that people buy and try the comics out themselves. And how did you miss things like my defense of Archie’s current design choices for Sally on the very first page?

Do I need to make a giant, sparkling text gif for my sidebar just so people don’t overlook this?

I don’t speak for all the people who visit here (there are a few people who still despise the series, and that’s their right), but I, the person who runs this blog, enjoy receiving the comics in my mailbox twice a week and don’t regret buying the recently released encyclopedia.

That said-

What exactly do you hate about the modern comics?

Nothing because I like them.

Because I wasn’t talking about the modern era, I was talking about Dulcy’s abusive dragon boyfriend where he breaks her damn arm as an example of some of the more ‘what the fuck’ things the OLD comics did. People’s mileage may vary on how they saw those situations and others, but I found it over the top.

If you seriously want nothing but jokes and puns, read a fucking newspaper strip.

WELL IT’S GOOD THAT THAT’S NOT ALL I WANT NOW ISN’T IT.

Fuck.

This blog exists mainly to showcase the clusterfuck of the old Archie comics. Yes lately I’ve been posting a few ‘boo-boos’ from current issues. Those are art gaffs. My focus is mainly on silly art. People can make fun of things and still like them. If you’re looking to yell at someone for NOT liking the current comics, I hear there’s people at DA talking about that. Why don’t you go there?
